Fundraising for Dynamic – a Local Wrexham Charity

So… I have set myself a bit of a huge physical and mental challenge.  With Gavin Belton Rose we have entered Cardiff Hyrox on 30th April held inside the Principality Stadium, where the likes of Shane Williams, Gareth Thomas and Louiz Rees Zammit have performed, so know do two overweight Wrexham, Business Owners !!

If you know HYROX, you’ll know it’s not a jog in the park:

8 x 1km runs.
In between each 1km run:
8 brutal stations.
🥵 1000m Ski Erg
🥵 150kg 50m Sled push
🥵 100kg 50 Sled Pull
🤢 80m Burpees
🥵 1000m Row Erg
🥵 200m (x2 24kg kettlebells) Farmers carry
🤢 100m 20kg Sand Bag Lunges
🤮 100 Wall balls
It’s relentless.

Now here’s the bit that matters.  We are not your usual participants, we are not elite athletes, we are both overweight, and we are absolutely going to suffer.

We are doing this for Dynamic Wrexham, a local charity that makes a real difference. My niece is a regular user of Dynamics services and is a committed member of their sign language choir so it has a special meaning to me

We have set up a JustGiving page and would massively appreciate any support every little bit helps. (link is in the comments)

📣 Business Sponsorship
If you run a business and would like to sponsor us as part of this challenge, we would love to hear from you.

In return for your support, we will publicly acknowledge your business across our social media channels, include featured posts and tags, and highlight your contribution as part of this fundraising effort for Dynamic Wrexham.

This is a great opportunity to support a vital local charity while demonstrating your commitment to the Wrexham community.

If you would like to get involved, please message one of us directly and we will make the arrangements.

If two middle-aged lads from Wrexham who are “not the fittest” can take on HYROX… what’s stopping the rest of us pushing ourselves a bit harder?

Let’s see what we’re made of. 🦾
