This week AB Accountancy celebrated it’s 6th Birthday, a huge thankyou from me to all of our staff, clients and friends of the business that have supported us on that journey.
Before starting the firm, I spent many years working in industry for a major aerospace company. That experience shaped how I see finance not just as numbers on a spreadsheet, but as a strategic tool to drive performance, efficiency, and growth. When I launched AB Accountancy, my goal was simple: to bring that commercial mindset into the world of small businesses. To go beyond compliance and genuinely help clients understand the story behind their numbers so they can make better decisions, not just meet deadlines. It is this commercial background that sets us apart from other accountancy practices.

Supported by my fantastic team we have built a practice that combines the rigour of traditional accountancy with the forward-thinking approach of a finance business partner. From cloud technology and automation to advisory services that add real value, we’ve evolved into something much more than a typical accountancy firm.
