Helping a Local Beer Bar Tap Into Their True Profits
One of the best parts of our job is working with passionate local businesses and this week we got to help a much loved local beer bar understand one of the most important numbers behind their success: Gross Profit %.
By digging into their sales data, cost of goods, and wastage, we worked out exactly how much of each pint’s price was turning into profit.
This number matters because: It shows if pricing covers costs (and then some!), It highlights where margins are slipping, It helps plan for growth without nasty surprises.
Once the owners saw their GP%, they were able to spot quick wins, from tweaking supplier deals to adjusting menu prices all without compromising on quality.
